It's their first Christmas as a family. When Gaeul brought up the idea of visiting a photographer to have official family pictures taken to put up in their apartment, Teddy wasn't exactly thrilled about the idea. However, as much as he didn't like to admit it, he has finally gotten used to the idea of being a father and has even become a bit of a family man. Sure, Gaeul did most of the work when it came to Ari, almost all of it in the beginning, but he has adapted to having a child and has started to share more and more tasks with her.
It took some convincing from Gaeul's side to get Teddy to agree to her idea but she probably knew that if he really didn't want to do it, he would've been a lot more persistent with saying no, far more than he has. His only rule was, no ugly Christmas sweaters and no hats. He didn't mind the idea of having a family photo up in their apartment but he definitely didn't want it to look ridiculous or be one of those cliché Christmas holiday family portraits.
They still had a couple of days until the appointment with the photographer and Gaeul suggested that they would go outfit shopping because even if they weren't going to wear ugly Christmas sweaters, as Teddy put it, or hats, she seemed convinced that they needed to get something new for the occasion.
After getting Ari dressed and cozily wrapped up, they headed to the nearby mall, and much to Teddy's dismay, even if it shouldn't have come as a surprise considering that it was almost Christmas, there were way too many people present.
"Maybe we should've ordered something online.", he said, looking at Gaeul while pushing the stroller with Ari in it. "But since we're already here... where do you want to go first?"

It was one of those rare times where their sweet neighbor accepted to babysit Ari, leaving Teddy and Gaeul to do anything they wanted for a whole 24 hours. After getting much needed rest, Gaeul peppered kisses all over her lover's face to get him to wake up as well, a soft smile on her face when their eyes finally met. "Date at home? Or do you want to go out? You choose, honey."
Teddy loved his daughter to bits but every once in a while he felt like both of them deserved a break so he was really happy when their neighbor accepted to babysit for them. He was still fast asleep when he felt Gaeul's kisses all over his face. Opening his eyes, Teddy let out a small groan and grabbed a hold of Gaeul, pulling her on top of him before he pressed a kiss to her lips. "Staying home sounds great.", he said before pressing another kiss to his girlfriend's lips. "Order takeout, watch a movie, and sex?"

Gaeul and Ari are the loves of my life and they do make me happy. However, I'm not sure if I'll ever be truly happy because there's still this nagging thought in the back of my mind that keeps telling me that it's not real and that it'll all disappear one day. I'm trying my best not to give in to those thoughts for the sake of Gaeul and Ari but sometimes, it's hard and I'm struggling a lot. Thankfully, Gaeul is very understanding and knows when I'm having a moment of doubt and I either need some reassurance or space. She’s absolutely great when it comes to picking up on my mood and thoughts without me having to actually say anything.", he said then paused and took a moment to take a breath. "So yeah, I am happy, I just have my moments when my demons try their very best to destroy that happiness and it's a tough battle to not let them."

After getting a babysitter for their daughter, Teddy took Gaeul out for dinner in a restaurant near the beach. They hadn't been spending much time alone ever since their daughter was born a couple of months back but he thought it was important and that they deserved a break, even if it's just a small one, every once in a while. Sitting there with his eyes closed, Teddy listened to the waves mixed with the gentle evening breeze and the soft music playing in the background. He couldn't remember the last time he was this relaxed and comfortable. After a moment, he heard Gaeul's voice but he was so lost in the moment that he didn't hear what she said. "I'm sorry, I was completely zoned out just now. What did you say?", he asked after opening his eyes and looking at her.

Even though they didn't happen too often anymore, Teddy was having one of his moments where he wanted nothing more than to run and hide for a while. However, he remembered his promise to Gaeul that he wouldn't run away anymore and instead talk to her when he got sucked back into that dark place. Of course, it wasn't easy to open up about it, even after all those years but he tried. He didn't understand why his brain kept going back to the idea that he was alone when he knew that Gaeul was by his side but maybe, just maybe, his brain simply needed a vocal reminder of exactly that every once in a while. Thankfully, that's exactly what Gaeul did, she reminded not only him but also his subconsciousness that he indeed wasn't alone. Not only did he have Gaeul in his life but also their daughter and they both needed him around. Heaving a sigh, Teddy grabbed a hold of Gaeul's arm and pulled her against his body, wrapping his arms around her into a tight embrace. "Thank you.", he whispered, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
