A dark wrinkly face with small eyes and a big snout huffed a little bit while sitting on the ground. "You'll meet your new Dad soon," Minho said, holding the leash of the dark Shar pei dog in one hand while waiting for Yoojin to open the door. "Surprise!" just when the door opened a tiny bit, Minho's loud voice echoed through the silence and the dog jumped on all fours again. The cute little tail started wagging softly and Minho grinned widely.  "I have a gift for you! I found this lovely little one in a shelter and you know I'm not allowed to have dogs at my apartment, also Maxwell wouldn't like dogs, so I thought you could take care of this cute fella here!" 

Yoojin had been out and about, taking care of some funeral arrangements. After dropping off all the paperwork in the office for his boss and having a quick chat with him, he went upstairs to his apartment. He could sense that Minho was there so he wasn't surprised to hear his voice as soon as he opened the door but he was quite confused as to why he yelled surprise. Kicking his shoes off, he immediately noticed that Minho wasn't alone when he looked over to him. Tipping his head to the side, Yoojin furrowed his brows as he wasn't exactly sure what was going on but Minho's explanation cleared that confusion. "You want me to take care of the dog?" Thankfully, Yoojin's boss, who was also his landlord, had a dog as well, so he was sure that keeping a dog wouldn't be an issue but he still didn't understand why Minho just randomly picks up a dog at a shelter and then brings it to him to take care of it. Stepping closer to the dog, Yoojin kneeled and smiled before he took a closer look at the dog to figure out whether it was a boy or a girl. When he found out that she was a girl, he looked up at Minho and chuckled. "Is this your way of telling me that I don't have enough girls in my life?" Another chuckle slipped past his lips before he averted his attention back to the dog who was sniffing at his legs. "Checking me out, hm?", he asked the dog and reached out to pet her head which made her look up at him. "Do you have a name?" His question wasn't exactly aimed at the dog but Minho as she obviously wasn't able to answer him.

Baron normally wasn’t one for heights despite where he came from so it was a surprise even to himself that he had gone up to the roof. “I um yeah I think so.” Was he okay? He had no idea. “I was suddenly feeling homesick I guess you could say so I decided to come up here to look up at the sky.” If only he could actually see the stars. “Even though being this high up kind of scares me.”

Whenever Yoojin came to the hospital now to pick up a body, he took a moment of his time to go see Baron. When he couldn't find him, he asked around and one of the nurses told him that she saw him go up to the roof a little earlier so he went there to check if he was there.

"Homesick?" Yoojin asked while sitting down next to Baron. "Oh right, I keep forgetting that you're not from around here," he paused for a moment and looked up at the sky, "Do you ever want to go back there?"

Things had been going pretty well between Yoojin and Lucy. They spent as much time as possible together whenever their schedule allowed it and today was one of those days. Yoojin had taken the day off because he had been working way too much the past couple of days and thankfully, his boss had no problem with it and agreed without hesitation. 

After taking a shower in the morning, he got dressed and sent Lucy a quick message to let her know that he was coming over to pick her up in a little bit and about twenty minutes later, he parked his car in front of her place, sending her another text.

They were both tired of the hectic city and decided to take a trip outside of Seoul and just spend some time in a place with more nature and less asphalt and concrete.

“W-what did you say?” He looks at him in surprise unable to hide it even if he wanted to. “Have you been drinking Yoojin-ssi?” He leans in to try and see if he could smell any alcohol on him. “I um think you might have hit your limit. Please don’t drink anymore.” That was the only possible reason he’d say something that absurd.

Yoojin narrowed his eyes at Baron's response because he may have had a drink earlier but it was just one glass and alcohol really didn't have much of an effect on him. When Baron leaned closer, he just looked at him without moving even the slightest bit. "I've had a glass earlier but you know alcohol doesn't really affect me." He replied before he paused for a moment and tipped his head to the side. "Why? Is it so strange of me to think you're cute?"

It was already late when Yoojin was done with everything he had to do that day so when he finally went upstairs to his apartment, he decided to go take a shower right away. Despite now knowing that he's a demon, he still saw himself as just a regular guy and just like any other regular guy, he had urges and needs that he had to satisfy, pleasuring himself being one of them.

He hadn't been with anyone in quite a while and since he wasn't really interested in one night stands, he resorted to taking matters into his own hands and the shower was the best place to do so because there wouldn't be a mess that he'd have to clean up. While he was working himself, he had a feeling that something was different but he was so busy and focused on what he was doing that he didn't notice the faint glow the rune Lucy put on his body was giving off.

After he was done, he finished showering then got out of the shower, dried himself off and hopped into bed after slipping into a pair of boxer briefs.

The next morning, once he was able to keep his eyes open,  he grabbed his phone and texted Lucy.

     Another day, another shift at the graveyard office. Honestly, whenever Yoojin met people and told them the kind of work he does, he's usually faced with disbelief followed by a lot of question, mostly along the lines of how he copes with being surrounded by death all the time. For him, however, it was never a problem even though, he wasn't sure why.

He had just finished preparing the necessary things for a funeral later that day when the phone rang, the number of one of the local hospitals flashing on the display. Picking up, he's told that there's a body ready for pickup and shortly after, Yoojin is on his way.

After reaching the hospital, he parks the large car in front of one of the underground exits that were connected to the morgue are and opened up the back before stepping inside the building. He's been there quite a number of times already so he wasn't paying much attention to where he was going and was messing around with his phone instead, replying to a message from his boss, letting him know where he was and that he's picking up a body.

All of a sudden, he was stopped in his tracks when he bumped into someone and dropped his phone on the ground. "Shit, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there." He mumbled while quickly squatting down to pick up his device. "You alright?"
