Guys I'm learning so much today about how vendors work from a con's side. Gonna send an email this week to apply for a Special Event Tax Payment Form. We are looking at hosting around 20 vendors. We are plotting besties, we are plotting. Once we have the forms and rooms secured and paid we will be opening that application (also once it's made)

I, and our board, are slowly becoming more free to invest more focus into this. We have finished one of our two events for this fall and once the second is clear we should be able to stare at this more.

Also when I yapped with the building people the other day, I had also asked about vendors which they said they'd look into but believe we should be able to so more to come on that as well

Talked with the scheduling people, we have the rooms on hold a big step for our planning. They'll be getting us the quote for room cost in the next couple of weeks hopefully, but this does mean that we have the day

The reservation of rooms form has been submitted, we shall see the judgement in time. Looking at late March to early April from 12 pm to 5 pm

Final decision is I'm gonna dye my hair... again 😂

Finding a blond wig is easier than trying to find one for the other character. I'd rather dye and style my own hair than fight with a wig for that cosplay. I'm just waiting for the wig I ordered for Tweek to come in so I can see if I like it or not

Alright so I've got the plane tickets for Power Morphicon 2022. I plan on flying in early on Thursday and leaving in the afternoon on Sunday.

I've got a hotel picked out, but I can't get it yet. I've got a backup motel but it is further away and costs more without the Power Morphicon deal. I had hoped to use Goodwings to offset the carbon of my trip, but I can't do that with the Power Morphicon deal.

I'm sorry if this has been answered but I didn't see it in the first con tag - how far in advance should you prepare? I want to do an AA for the first time, and the con I attend annually & have means to get to is 9 months away. AA applications haven't opened yet. I have just a few artworks that I think would work as prints, and want to paint some more, as well as make designs for other merch. How far ahead would you recommend having all your designs done or all your stock produced?
