Anon, there is no reference to grade scales on that page because they require you to select a program of study before showing you requirements. Second, GPA can be calculated with the formula: (GPA ÷ 9.0)x4.0=GPA on 4.0 scale. So if you had a 6.5, (6.5 ÷9.0)x4.0=2.8

I think you may have the GPA thing wrong. Because on yorku admission requirements page it says 2.3 on a 4.0 scale is a C+ or 65%. So that means 3.0 is a 6.4 GPA on a 9.0 scale

I’m not sure where you’re seeing that page, Anon as there is a different admission requirements page for each program. If you link it, that would be helpful. York does not have a 4.0 conversion tool, so we can only use what we find online, which is the one we’ve linked several times.

the thing is that you confused me because you posted that website which doesnt even match with yorku grades, like from 90-100 is a A+ at york???????

Very few schools use the 9.0 scale. So no, it was not as easy as converting 9.0 to 4.0. A bit of effort was needed on your part. A simple search of York’s grade percentages would not only give you your grade percentage, but the letter grade that goes with it.

You have to know what 7.17 is at York. Either percentage or letter. And then use the converter.
