Captain Sinon of the 9th Co. Devastator, Ultramarines and Lieutenant Diomedes of the 8th Co. Close Support, Ultramarines carrying Teeth of Terra relic chainsword. Both en route to Vigilus warzone with chapter elements to support Strike Force Sigeles. My list needed more characters for support, so I built these 2. Capt Sinon as captain of the Devastator company has loadsa gear. I gave him a super signum like those carried by devastator sergeants but mounted it on the missile launcher backpack so he can still resupply his troops. He's similarly carrying 2 melta bombs on it cos he likes when things go *crump*. His weapons are magnetised. Currently I only need him cheap as chips so in game he carrys 2 chainswords which will be boring in the long term. I also realise in taking these pics I didn't greenstuff over the death co symbol on his left hand. Lt Diomedes will be supporting my jump smash captain and so I made them both of the same company. His giganto sword is white tacked in place for the photos. Bonus instadollars for anyone who gets the reference of his name. The old metal vanguard are lovely sculpts and I've not used them in 2 editons so they got stripped.
