Chana was grateful that one of her good friends was a lawyer. It made dealing with custody of Chaya easier. Plus whenever one of her family members messed up she was just a phone call away. This time she had questions about the custody agreement with her mother. She wanted to get that cleared up before signing anything. Also there was the whole baseball and mailbox thing with her little brother. Waiting outside Avery’s office, she sat reading a magazine until her friend was ready for her. @attyavery
