The little boy was certainly enjoying himself as he sprinted down the street with all his might, but it was one of those premonition moments where Julia could see what was about to happen. As his little shoe caught the edge of a sidewalk slab sending him flying through the air like a tiny human missile. Julia was already starting to reach towards him as he hit the ground with a blunt thudding sound, followed by a distressed cry that triggered her maternal side. It was so reminiscent of when Ash use to fall over as a kid it was like being thrown back in time, but still the brunette ran towards the fallen child quickly. “Oh honey, are you okay?” She asked in a soothing voice, seeing his mother coming up behind him quickly in her peripheral vision but putting most of her attention on the little boy. She wanted to make sure there was no blood and no breaks before trying to help him up incase she did more harm than good - she wanted to help the situation not make it worse. “Let me see your hands, did you scrape them on the ground? You took quite a fall there, huh, but I don’t think I see any blood.” Glancing up as she saw the woman who must be his mother come up with two other kids Julia smiled, hoping she wasn’t about to be told off for interfering, some mothers were like that.
