THE STUDIO HALLWAY WAS STILL humming with music when lailah peeked inside , hoping to find lilith alone . she hadn't meant to s n o o p . she just wanted to hang out , and saw the door slightly cracked , heard the faint hum of music , and curiosity pulled her the rest of the way . she l e a n e d in , just a little , and the floor creaked traitorously . she offered a tentative smile , clutching a grocery bag full of various candy and snacks . ❝ hi . sorry . i know you probably don’t like . . . disruptions . ❞ she greeted the other . ❝ and , before you accuse me of being sneaky , i promise i wasn’t trying to be . not on purpose , at least . i just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out ?? ❞ lailah asked as her hands flailed vaguely . Auberon was doing what he does best— hiding in the shadows. He had been there to see everything at the wedding turn sour. During the chaos, he had a run-in with a faction member and was asked a question he had been asked time before in his long life: is it going to be me or them? Luckily, for Auberon, he chose himself, and left the fight with only a few cuts, scrapes and bruises while his opponent wasn't so lucky. He nicked a dagger from the body and, in the shadows, waited for what was to come next. Seeing someone he recognized, he called out to her. "Hey, over here," He ushered Lilith over to his temporary hiding spot. "Are you hurt at all?" He questioned, appraising her well-being. ( @lilithaine )

Rose walked out of the private room where the N.A meeting had been held today at the hospital. The redhead wasn’t sure why she still came and had debated on more than one occasion to to just stop entirely. It wasn’t like she was sober, or even really trying to be sober. Sure, the meetings helped her keep somewhat of a leash on her addiction, train it to not be the overpowering force it used to be but still. Swallowing thickly, a memory from the deepest part of her heart and the darkest part of her mind reminded her of who she kept coming back to these meetings for. An effort to at least pretend she was keeping up a promise she had made on a deathbed. 

Shaking her head, unable to feel the pain she could feel beginning to fester within her, Rose reached into her back pocket and pulled out a small, clear baggie. It was the last pill she had, she’d have to find more. Flicking her finger over the plastic and with a quick glance around her to make sure no one was watching, Rose emptied the baggie into her palm before taking the pill. If a high was ever needed, it was right now. Once she had taken it, Rose sighed and turned around, ready to leave this damn place and possibly go bother Dominic during his shift at the Graveyard. But as she turned around, her eyes landed on the one person who badgered her relentlessly. “Great,” She hissed under her breath, hoping to make a quick escape without the nurse bothering her tonight. Not tonight.
