Even as someone who is deeply invested in and for the most part understands EAH lore, I find it hilarious that the writers for this kids series that was made to sell dolls were like “lets take this franchise with movies, books, diaries, and webisodes, and make it so that the lore and timeline is convoluted as hell”
Look I know that young kids are probably not gonna care that much about lore…but like the writers for EAH really went all out. This may sound like I’m exaggerating but in my most transparent opinion, the EAH timeline and lore is just as convoluted as the Danganronpa, Sailor Moon, and The Evillious Chronicles timeline….
Its all easy to follow when you go by just the animated series alone, but then you find out that you gotta take the books, which also go alot deeper, as well as the diaries into consideration on where they fit in the timeline. Like damn so much lore for whats intended as a glorified advertisement.
I mean I’m not complaining cause like, if there’s something I’m really into, it’s franchises with complicated lore and timeline. But I have to admit, I cant always figure it all out by myself. I mean for example, when I really into Danganronpa, I basically gave up on trying to piece together the timeline. The only reason I know the full thing now is cause someone with too much patience posted an over 3 hour long video on YouTube that I just so happened to watch.
