Lydia still recommends the pie at Yours, Mime and Ours and she seems to have a pretty steady head on her shoulders so I'm inclined to believe that's the case, as well.
I don’t see a problem with the establishment in any way. It’s most likely people being swayed by an entirely unrelated series of events, and seeking a scapegoat. Which is unfortunate but entirely predictable. And yes, the pie is delightful.
