You might have already forgotten about the cook!AU but it's brewing in my head, waiting for its time.

So, Phantom. He is Rain's best friend from school. Very few people know that it's his real name. Phantom Aeon Midas, but he prefers to introduce himself as Thom or Bug.

When Dew learnt about it, his first thought was to give the boy a good hug, pat him on the back and say that everything will be okay. As someone whose name is Dewdrop, he understands the struggle.

Anyway, we came up with cook!AU. Dew is a cook in some grill house and makes the best spicy BBQ ribs in town, they are really delicious, but not everyone takes the risk of ordering, because, as my friend says, “it burns on the way in, it burns on the way out”. And of course, Dew's personality matches his dishes. And then there is a certain customer who comes every weekend and orders these very ribs. Every time. A double portion. The waiters are stunned, Dew is pleased that at least someone appreciates it, and the customer compliments the chef every time. And it's not that Dew's really interested in who this fire-eater is, but yet he's still curious.

And then, you know... Dewther.

"So… Dewdrop is your real name? No shit?" Dew checks his phone. He has five minutes of his smoke break left and he really doesn't want to spend them talking, especially with Swiss of all people. He takes another drag of his cigarette and exhales, watching the smoke drift towards the sky. Mmm, nicotine. Good. Swiss still looks at him expectantly, and Dew sighs. "My parents wanted a daughter, came up with a pretty name for a girl. But instead they got me". Dew finishes his cigarette, stubs it out on the wall and returns to the kitchen.
