fucking love how insane isagi gets when he's on the field. then he's back to being normal but then wait no he's scary again
I've heard medical/paramedic/emergency rescue shows are, in their generality, unrealistic
And this has to be one of the more unrealistic sh*ts that pop up in 911.
Are you telling me that this man... This man! ....
This cutie! .....
Was not picked by any woman in an auction? aaaaahm...
Excuse me?
I have been and always shall be your friend.
I incorrectly assume that you'd be truthful in your captain's log.
Pointy
Are you giving me attitude, Spock?
Never trust a Vulcan.
Perhaps unpopular opinion coming... And a pre-note: 911 is not one of my main fandoms. That being said, I cannot stay quiet...
Did they change writers in the last season? The writing was lacking... They would reach deeper themes and deviate from them like cats from hot water. Keeping them superficial, solving them quick and easily, not letting us see the process of resolution, making plot twists that were not then explored.... The curious part is that I didn't feel this fear of deeper topics in other seasons.
Also, when they announced that Buck and Eddie were going together to the games, I thought: HELL YEEEAH let's go for a glass of wine to celebrate a whole episode full of Buddie scenes! To then be served with a cheap version of Sam and Dean Winchester, one or two cute scenes (have to admit!), but most of the episode was spent separated from each other.
Not that I'm still waiting for them to get together. I've lost my hope already. If they don't, then it's fine. But at this point, they seem to be dragging it out for the audience, giving only small crumbs to keep both sides satisfied enough. Or maybe I'm just reading it wrong..
And c'moooon! I was even waiting for a crossover between 911 and 911 Lone Star at the games. Talk about a lost opportunity!
I went to watch the new Superman bc of a comment on Tumblr I can't find it anymore that refered the short amount of killings in this movie
I wasn’t going to watch it. "Another one", I thought, and I liked the last Superman (don’t come say that I like it only bc Henry Cavill bc it's true and I'll admit it! The guy is just handsome af! Though I dislike chin dimples)
But my gosh, this new Superman? It didn’t feel I was watching a superhero movie (and how wrong is that? That's a reflection for another time). Superman/Clark was human. So human.. He was real. And had flaws. Lois was real, not the perfect woman. They had communication issues that weren't solved magically (or at all). Not the perfect relationship at all.
Superman/Clark is stubborn af, and he cries over death! I repeat, he cries over death.. Not of his mother, or his father, or his gf.. Just some immigrant who gave him food once and was a good enough person and died for him and humanity! And he saves a f*cking squirrel (stupid creature so cute!). He also saves a girl with his flying moves without she getting "oh my gosh, I want to spread my legs for you" (which would be totally fine if she would want that, but it is nice to have other representations out there)
Finally, his parents. The biological parents aren't glorified. The addoptive parents? The ones who changed his diapers (does Superman poop?), scolded him when he stayed too late playing video games, woke him up in the morning, worried sick abt him - those that were always there for him. Just saying this: The last scene made me cry.
Oh, and no bullshit of mom/father/aunt/gf's death PAIN raised me to be the AWESOME MAN I am. #usedafplot
This is already going on for too long, and there are even more good things to say abt it (bad as well, I'm sure). So, if you reached until here, I just have one more thing to add: how much did we feel a very queer vibe between Luthor and Superman? ;)
