My normal cheesecake plus a candied pecan topping at the request of a neighbor. Kept the other half clean because a certain someone doesn't like pecans. #theWobblyElm #bmore #cookmore #cheesecake Recipe for cheesecake (adapted from my mother's recipe which I think she found from a late 1960s Cooking Light): 1. Mix and pat into the bottom of a spring form pan: tbsp melted unsalted butter, 3 tbsp packed brown sugar, & 1 sleeve Graham crackers (crushed) 2. Bake at 350 for 10 mins 3. Mix 16 oz room temp cream cheese, 2 large eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, & 2 tsp vanilla extract. 4. Pour mix onto cooled pie crust and bake at 350 for 25 mins 5. Cool for 10 mins 6. Mix 8 oz sour cream, 1/4 c sugar, & 1 tsp vanilla extract. 7. Bake at 350 for 10 mins 8.
