Teachers are evolving
You gotta appreciate the teachers who comment on your interests-
Like I walked into AP Government today and teacher said, "Sean, Sean, I think one day- one of these days- you're gonna be an astronaut at NASA."
And for some context: I have a goal to look like one of those side characters that always dresses in the same theme everyday, and my theme is NASA. I own 16 NASA shirts, a NASA necklace bought at the Kennedy Space Center, a NASA hoodie and jacket, and a space phone case. Today was the only day probably since school started, where I haven't worn a NASA shirt (bc I no longer have all day to do laundry- oops-), and I accidentally left my necklace at my dad's and have actually been BUMMED OUT ABOUT IT all week. And yeah, I was wearing the jacket, but the NASA patch is on the pocket and is all folded up and hidden when the jacket isn't zipped up.
So for my teacher to mention *today* that he's noticed my NASA obsession and to encourage me is fuckin' crazy. And then after I said I don't think I'm skilled enough for that, but have always joked that being a NASA janitor is my backup plan, he said even that would be cool, and was like "what if a janitor got stuck in like a- false launch and ended up in space?" And then got excited when I said I like writing, and suggested I could write a story about that and told me about his author friend.
His genuine confidence in me and interest might've just made him my favorite teacher.

My science teacher is teaching us with memes, getting our jokes, and telling us good jokes. I do not know if this is a blessing or curse.
My English teacher is the best teacher. During Zoom, if a cat, dog, snake, etc. comes over to the student, it’s a rule in her class to show everyone that pet. No questions. Middle of a test? Never mind that, get your puppy over here.
In computer Science, we were doing stuff on HTML and I spent a whole lesson building the TARDIS.
My teacher approved of it and even helped me make it.
I have never seen any of my teachers (i am doing an entirely online school, im just enrolled in the county and not a school) and i just found out one of them is really really cool
i kind of made a half joke (i think it was sarcasm, it is sort of natural) and he joked back, and because the godforsaken site that im working on keeps breaking and i keep emailing and we keep joking and im glad i have a positive relationship with him because i emailed my other teacher 4 times today about the same test because i failed it 4 times and i think she’s mad
I DID NOT THINK MY MUSIC TEACHER COULD GET COOLER
