Attention! This is really awesome!
So it was about 2AM here when my older brother decided he wanted to get some late night slurpees but we had no car to use unless we used our parents and hell we aren't that stupid! Well, I got dressed and what not to go, it's pretty chilly outside and dark of course and we had a thirty minute walk to this 7Eleven then obviously thirty back.
While we were walking along the road, about fifteen minutes in a cop car pulls up in front of us. He was doing his normal rounds to make sure under aged kids aren't walking around late at night. We show ID and what not, explain that we were headed to the 7Eleven down the road and the cop was like well.. that's a pretty far walk on foot and it's pretty cold outside. Agreeing that it was but we are okay he told us how about he gives us a ride?
So.. We said yes cause why deny a free ride from a awesome cop right? So I got in front and my brother got in the back which I tell you was the BEST thing ever to see because some reason deep down I've ALWAYS wanted to see him in a cop car. Either way we talk and what not, this black cop is like the chillest guy ever. He took us there and we got our stuff, slurpee and subs. Well when we were about to check out one of the workers, who mind you were awesome as hell too because they were goofying around having fun with music since it's like 2 in the morning, tells us the cop said it's just too cold and the walk is long so he said he'd give us a ride back as well!
So we got a ride TOO the 7Eleven and BACK to our house from the coolest cop ever, it was so freaking amazing.. I don't even know how to explain how sweet it was. First time in a cop car and lucky for me it was an awesome good reason, got a free ride and talked to a cop.
Bonus, got to see brother in the back and the cop joked around saying I should take a picture to show others but sadly I left my phone so I couldn't.
