soooo hi everyone, im balit and im your host thats extremely late to my own party. it tends to be relevant more often than not these days that im blind and a succubus and extremely opinionated about both things (and many other less important things), so if thats a problem for you then this is your warning!!!!
other than that, id love to get to know you all and maybe something youre opinionated on thats less serious? (mine is probably sanrio right now)

Angie stands outside with a small watermelon held under her now unusually muscular arm. She flashes the camera a grin and a peace sign before she moves to sit on what looked like the sidewalk she was standing on. At least she's wearing a shirt and shorts for a change.
She stretches her legs out before placing the watermelon there between her thighs, wiggling it here and there before it seems to be at just the right spot. She crosses her ankles and leans back on her hands before getting to work.
Miles can be heard in the background chanting 'Crush it! Crush it!' as her muscles visibly strain, legs trembling. Her nose scrunches as her cheeks start to turn pink before- SQUOSH... She laughs as she finally relaxes, sitting up to grab the two halves of melon after wiping some juice from her legs, holding them up triumphantly!

Apologies for the delay in greeting you all. My work keeps me busy and my hobbies keep me busier still.
Scully, pleased to make your acquaintances.

How would you describe the MUN of this blog? || @coolhearted
No.
@coolhearted I am! To some people at least.
especially ones that... have absolutely No Reason to be. like i get doing it with characters like bane, where it’s a POINT for them to be shredded, and supposed to convey they’re a fighter. but like. characters like eddie, victor, harvey... they don’t really do much fighting. HELL. eddie himself does the LEAST amount of fighting. he’s usually seen as the most INEPT fighter, and always depends on his brain. why oh WHY would he need to be that BEEFY ??? this nerdy guy ???? this guy too busy focusing on traps and puzzles to be GETTING GAINS ?
HOW DOES CRANE SLEEP
I love this question because it can be taken in many ways and answered in just as many, which means I get to ramble even more so thank you.
Firstly, difficulty.
How difficult is it for him to fall asleep? Incredibly. In addition to his fears and anxieties (including Somniphobia), Crane has undiagnosed Bipolar Disorder, OCD, ADHD, and is on the Autism spectrum - all of which provide numerous difficulties for sleeping, even when medicated. Crane never sleeps voluntarily, with his only moments of rest being extremely impulsive power naps or when his body simply gives out. It is not uncommon for security guards at Arkham who are having trouble getting through their shifts to come to torment the ever-awake Crane while he is in his cell, strapped to his bed.
How difficult is it for him to stay asleep? Very. Although Crane is, typically, an incredibly heavy sleeper, he also suffers from Sleep Apnea, meaning he will awake in the night due to having stopped breathing. His respirator, which was built for generalized breathing issues and asthma, is not appropriate for treating said Sleep Apnea, and so he continues to suffer.
Second, the process.
What is Crane's nighttime ritual? Well, as previously established, Crane is almost never able to fall asleep on his own. This doesn't mean he doesn't try, however. Crane will retire to his bedroom at midnight, provided he doesn't have any extra plans or any more work on the farm, and switch from his dayclothes to some comfortable pajamas. He prepares rigorously, using one of his allotted four hours without a respirator to prepare for bed - breathing treatment to (futilely) strengthen his lungs, eat and drink something (usually cookies, warm milk, and water), use his inhalers, smoke a little bit of weed he got from Eddie in an attempt to make himself tired, and then brush and floss his teeth religiously before putting the respirator back on and crawling into bed. He will usually get up an hour later to use his computer or his phone after realizing that tonight will not be his night to sleep. Sometimes he'll simply flick a light on and read a book. Whether or not he is able to sleep, Crane quietly enjoys his nightly rituals, and the small amount of rest he is afforded in his own bed.
What about in Arkham? Oh, well that's a whole different beast entirely. In Arkham, Crane is afforded none of these commodities he has at home, aside from his respirator and his inhalers. Combined with his intense Claustrophobia, Crane does not sleep at all in Arkham unless he is forcibly sedated - even then, it takes a massive amount to put him under, even more than it would take for someone like Waylon, just by virtue of Crane's resistance to toxins and chemicals. As stated before, many guards will come to Crane's cell to talk at him through the door while he's still strapped down. In his panicked state, Crane is unable to do much but scream incoherently or plead to be released.
