Earlier today, there was a rally in my city of Chattanooga called the Solidarity with Charlottesville. It was pretty big and few others there happened to be counter protesters. A few talks were had such as about what rights people have during encounters with police, some singing, and a prayer that happened before the rally. Also, some businesses closed before the rally started.
There was a heavy police presence there just in case. Despite the rumors of both sides carrying guns and numerous heated discussions happening throughout the night, the rally ended peacefully around 10 at night.
I usually dont post these kinds of things, but considering an important event happened in my city, i felt the need to show that we do NOT stand for racism and any kind of bigotry .
