Ingredients: 2 cups heavy cream. 1 cup whole milk. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Green food coloring optional.
Instructions: To make the sauce, put heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract in a bowl and whisk them together until the sugar is gone. If you want a bright green color, add a few drops of green food coloring. Put the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn it according to the directions on the machine. Add mini chocolate chips in the last few minutes of churning and let them mix in with the ice cream. Put the ice cream that has been churned into a container that can go in the freezer. Freeze it for at least 4 hours, or until it is firm.
