Sam Locke-Ward and Ed Gray are musical heroes and great old friends. Sam was my roommate and I played a few shows with him after his first band The Eggnogs split up. Lately he's released records with Jad Fair and Mike Watt.

Our old friend John Hopkins (RIP) is doing sound. He went on to tour with Buzz-oven, Boris, Melvins, High On Fire, etc. He did the live mix that became Boris' Live at Third Man record.

I've never had better friends than I did in Iowa, except maybe for some of y'all.

We have new merch! We are slowly saving up the $ to record our new full length album and all the money from this shirt and pins will go to find that! Bumblefest: Day 1 (09.13.2019)

Day 1 of the 8th Annual local festival staple proved in just a handful of bands, the immense talent that is inside the S. FL music scene

West Palm Beach- 

The streets are alive with, for intents and purposes, energy. While that might not have been the direction you thought this to be going, this is the constant scene of the Southern Florida music scene.

With every turn of the block, a sweet surprise for the ears of the casual listener and for the more detailed of eyes, unbridled support.

At Purehoney Magazine’s 8th Annual Bumblefest, featuring an ambitious and daunting 40 band roster, bands joined the cheers and thumping feet of their fellow featurees amdist packed venues and acts who were ready to truly give their all, with genres spanning hip-hop, to indie, to punk and just all out rock ferocity.

In April 2009 I made Cody take The Rhombus on tour to support his Ladders EP. Most of the shows were pretty terrible, but the trip was fun. This was the last show of the tour with Schaffer the Darklord. Lots of friends came out.

I suck at getting pictures when I’m actually playing (I played bass in Rhombus and did a live Coolzey set with Cody, Jason and Brian on this tour) so if you have any please post/send/tag/whatever

Snailmate and Coolzey were welcomed by Voiddweller and Pulsing. We played at a brewery that opened up onto the street outside in front of the kegs. Pillows and/or stuffed animals (?) were gutted and we writhed among their remains.
