Volunteer trail worker, axe restorer, sketch artist, and outdoorsman par excellence. With a penchant for east coast axes, Chris Garby’s extensive collection and his dedication to the “oldest tool” has long been an inspiration to us. With the White Mountains of New Hampshire practically in his backyard, Chris and photographer Ports Bishop took to the trails this fall for some trail clearing and field testing in the beautiful region known simply as ‘The Whites.’ We think it’s always good to have a friend in the mountains, and we’re lucky to have Chris in the Best Made family.

Day-off workout.
You need to follow my brother-from-another-mother Chris. He's a fellow mountain dweller from the NE, a talented restorer of vintage axes, and brilliant photographer, and wonderful sketch artist, among other things.
