Yo finally another Yan & Alex post!

The last one is you haven't seen it!

Today I'm gonna introduce what I call "The prank arc" or between co-authors we call it "the events of the play" (mmaybe I'll explain why sometime, not now tho) and the new characters that come with it!

But first let me cover an important detail. The events of this arc happen 3-4 years after the academy arc. Also, before parting ways, Alex and Yan chose codenames for themselves. Alex chose Mr X because of the scar he now had (the one yan gave him accidentally), and Yan, apparently chose Mr Y. That's all you need to know

So, in this arc, you won't see Yan much (he's depressed after dropping out of the academy ok. Also bc his (boy)friend left him lol) but there will be a lot of new characters! Also Alex is kinda the main cause(?) of all the events. Let me introduce the new characters!

Meet pigeon(pureblood post pigeon actually 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻)!

Currently I only have these sketches if his design, but there will be a more complete, digital design of him. And more art overall

About him: He's a shape shifter, for one. Also, he's Alex's friend/sidekick lol :) they met because pigeon works as a postman/delivery guy and he was delivering something to Alex. And then he hired him, tadaa

I actually love the design I did for him, and the character itself. He's cool and plays a crucial part in the story

Now, I don't have any sketches of the other new characters YET but that will be fixed

In general, the following characters are all princesses and their side characters that don't play a major role in the "big plot" but are helping with the story in some way.

First off: Belle and the candle holder (Lumiere I think? He doesn't rlly have a name)

Second: Snow white and her stepmother

Third: Rapunzel and the hairdresser (ever wanted to see Rapunzel with a pixie cut? You WILL.)

Fourth: Cinderella and her stepmother+ the fairy godmother (shes a slay queen trust.)

Fifth: Sleeping beauty and the museum administrator (it'll make sense soon)

That's all the new characters we're gonna have!

The concept of this arc is that, each princess has a problem, and in the process of finding a solution, they find a "prediction"

The problems, specifically, are:

- Belle – wants to escape the beast's castle, finds prediction on ger phone

- Snow white – her stepmother "modified" the magical mirror to be a mirror-phone, by it doesn't work. When snow white doesn't fix it, stepmother kicks her out. She finds her prediction in an apple she was just about to eat

- Rapunzel – broken hair dryer, therefore she went to sleep with wet hair and it tangled. She goes to a hairdresser, and gets most of her hair cut off. Finds her prediction in the box the new dryer came in

- Cinderella – Pretty much like the og fairytale, she finds the prediction clinging to her leg that ended up without the shoe

- Sleeping beauty – wakes up after a 100 year's sleep, and finds that a museum was built around her. The administrator explains what happened, offers(basically begs atp) her to stay and work in the museum as an exhibit, but she refuses. She finds her prediction on the ground disguised as a job application, while in fact searching for a normal job.

All their predictions said: Important changes will take place in your life; you simply need to find your talisman of success—if you can spot it, it will grant all your wishes.

That's suspicious, so they all come together to solve this mystery and who did this.

When they all finish telling their stories, they hear knocking on the window. That's of course Pigeon, delivering a letter from Mr X, aka Alex. In the letter it says the predictions weren't true, the talismans weren't either, and that to find happiness you only need to believe in yourself or something. Just. Some philosophical moral shi. And a PS: Honestly, I didn't think you all would buy that, haha

Soooo that's about it! I hope you liked that one. And I'll draw proper character designs for all the new characters, I promise

Oh also, I'm about to show you what adult Yan and Alex look like. (I might start referring to them as "Misters" from now on because both their code names are Mr X and Mr Y. Yes Yan's codename is Mr Y if I didn't mention that)

Hi hello! Post №1 about Yan&Alex lore

Here it goes, the first post with Yan and Alex's lore. I'll probably pin this one because it's very important to me, and I'll add links to tge following posts about them below. Also I made posts with explaining a little bit of the universe they live in, plus their personalities and character traits, here are the links:

So, let's get on with the post. Today I'm talking about the Academy arc

Alr. Alex and Yan met in the Villian academy (think of it like a college or university, something that happens after regular school), as y'all know. Alex annoyed yan at first, being really talkative and friendly and shit, Yan just wanted to study in peace lol. And when he just thought he'd got away from him....he found out that they shared a dorm room. Forced proximity here we GOOO

On the very first day of school, Alex pulls a prank on one of the teachers, spilling a whole bucket of pink hair dye on her head (anonymously ofc, no one knew it's him). When the teacher showed up in the classroom all pink, Everyone was laughing, even Yan who tried to prevent Alex from doing this

Soooo over time they become friends. Best friends, even. They sit together on every class, do every group project together. Here comes another part of the story: fencing. Of course in a school for villains they taught combat, sword fighting and fencing specifically. And, well an accident happened on one fencing lesson. Yan and Alex were partners there, of course, so they fought 1v1. And the poorly fastened safety cap unstuck from Yan's fencing sword in the process. That way... Alex got a scar on his stomach in the form of a letter X (IT'S RELEVANT TO THE STORY LATER TRUST). Yan apologised to him for a week after that. (Yep, that's the so called dangerous villain)

Ig, tge twi got along pretty well. There were some other small events, like skipping classes together sometimes, or Alex forcing Yan to take a break when the other was frantically preparing for finals, sneaking out of the academy territory, Alex being called into the principal office and Yan waiting for him outside.

The 3 years of studying passed quicker than they'd like.

Also sometime during those years, a pretty major conflict happened between them. Tge problem was Yan's aunt. She saw how close he'd gotten with Alex and saw how it was affecting his grades. So she told Yan not to speak to Alex anymore, and made him move rooms, so now his roommate was this super successful student who prolly studied either alchemy or magic and curses. Yan was DEVASTATED, but still couldn't refuse her. He didn't tell alex it was because of his aunt, but because he "realised his career is way more important" and Alex "doesn't even care about what will he become in life". Alex was upset with that too. BUT! There's this detail. Alex was actually friends with Yan's new roommate (cuz yk he's friends with everyone atp) and that roommate told him hiw it really was. Now I don't exactly know how it ends, either Alex confronts Yan's aunt or the three of them think of some plan for Yan to move back in with Alex. Ig they figure it out.

Now let's move on to the end of the last year of their studies. They were assigned to do a project (in groups or pairs, there was no option to do it alone.) and of course these two were doing it together. It was meant to be a villainous little plan, using at least something they'd studied along those years (even pranks were ab option, yes) but little did Alex know, Yan was gonna get violent with that. He came up with a plan that included all of the princesses (well tge ones that are in this story anyways). Remember how Yan hates royalty because of how his parents died? Well, he wanted a little bit of revenge, but in the princesses instead. So the plan was including causing pretty bad harm to them. When Alex saw the concept, he freaked out because WTF? and said he wouldn't do that. They have an argument, and then alex just leaves. The project, the school, Yan and everything. In the end of the day, neither of them get to finish school because 1) Alex ran away; 2)Yan didn't have a partner anymore, so he couldn't put his plan to action.

And with this...the academy arc ends! Maybe I'll write more about the small events that happened over the academic years later, but for now have this.
