no time for sleep, it’s true crime time
i really thought i could go without the seroquel tonight but i was taking the dog out for a quick necessities run and i hear someone gunning the fuck out of a well-tuned engine coming up the highway. thought it was a drunk driver and was like “haha watch they’ll pull in here” and then the red and blue lights came on. it was a cop doing double the speed limit. he slowed down to maybe 15 to turn into the parking lot and then zoomed the fuck over to the family units. no sirens, just lights and a really pressed gas pedal.
then the cruiser SUV comes in also speeding.
then distant sirens, about 2 or 3, cutting off real close as more cops swarm the parking lot behind the family section. people standing in the parking lot. some shouting, no scuffling. police scanner app says they’ve got the female and the car has been moved to the corner of such-and-such. a white box van with running lights but nothing on the side pulls up on the road before the apartment and idles on the road. another SUV and then another cruiser. more sirens far away.
i decided i’d picked up two dooks today and that was just about enough shit, and went home and took my sleeping pill at 3:51 AM.
fuckin saturday night cow tippers, man.
