Hey, I was wondering if you knew this fic... I only read the first two(?) chapters of it. It was a modern AU where The gang worked as cops? And Keith rode a motorcycle. They were working and there was a bomb that was about to go off and Keith was impulsive and stupid so he took it on his bike and rode it into the ocean as it exploded. Right before it did, he confessed his love to Shiro. I’ve been looking for it for a while

As they watch, the timer flips from 7:00 to 6:59, seconds flicking by.

“We’ve got a bomb,” Keith reports over the general radio as calmly as he can.

There’s a beat before Pidge responds, cool as ever. “Ok. Bomb squad is en route. ETA is ten minutes.”

“Uh yeah, so that might be a problem.” Hunk offers, diplomatically.

“Detective Hollis.” She answered, mostly out of habit. The majority of calls that she received at this hour were for work. It usually meant someone was dead. As she suspected, it was dispatch calling her about a body that had been found just a few blocks away from her apartment. “I’m not on call. Can’t night shift take it?”

“The first officer on scene found a business card in the victim’s purse. It had your name on it. Officer Kirsch called it in and asked us to contact you.” “My card?” Laura frowned as she finally sat up, cold dread settling in her stomach. “Who’s the victim?”

The Nightingale, Ash, Cop AU, doesn't have to be romantic at all.

Ash/Nightingale – CopAU

He was closing in now – years of searching and so many, many lost, finally coming to an end as Ash parked his police issued Chevy, black as the night sky, rims twinkling like the stars above, atop the hill of the grand estate that was the Each Uisge’s pride and glory.

He had risen to power on the backs of the less, ushering a new age of despair and poverty during the time of the second great war, feared by millions and hunted by even fewer; Ash was one of the last, and while he’d done some shady things in his time, nothing prepared him for what lay beyond the innermost doors of that mansion.

Holding tight to his pistol, flashlight at the ready, hand over his badge like he had to protect it, Ash swung open those doors to find the entire place barren, dusty, and cold, save for one lonely hallway - at the end, the door bathed in red shone light through it’s cracks; on the other side was the Each Uisge, barely recognizable – an empty vessel, a former shade of himself – sitting, staring blankly at a dark corner, and on a small table in the middle of the room, sat a single note, signed “The Nightingale”.
