20. What is a promise they have made to each other?

That they’d make each of their days count, and that they would tell the story of their relationship themselves rather than have others make things up about them. (It’s a big theme in the story, taking their story in their own hands.)

 31. What do they love to do after sex?

cuddles <3 When they get older...cook and eat, lol.

Well I want to bust this chapter out tonight because it’s a little short and very romantic and after today I would like to release some good vibes(tm) but in case I don’t here’s this little thing:

on android/human relations in my writing (Cophie smutty times)

whenever I write about Sophie and Connor makin’ love, be it in fic or in a prompt or something extra, I love it, because their romance developed so organically through writing, and they make love the way they fell in love: slowly and then with so much passion it was like dancing in the stars. Plus, you know. he’s an android. while I think in many aspects it’s similar to humans, it’s also a teensy bit different? 

But then I’m always like: am I weirding people out because I just decided to embrace the whole android anatomy thing? Like when this whole subject first came up in my fic I had someone comment he needs Eden club upgrades and i point blank told the reader it wouldn’t happen. (which I think the wording of “upgrade” is problematic in itself because it assumes that penetration is the end all be all of sex acts when it isn’t, something I’ve spoken of before.) Then when the Cophie smut finally happened they asked if the “upgrade” happened again...and then I think they stopped reading when I said the same thing I said earlier to them. which is fine, I don’t disparage people for not continuing to read. 

but now I’m just like....I like the way they do things and it makes sense for them. Through writing, I will continue to attempt to convey how their lovemaking works for them and fulfills them as it is.
