My brain does this dumb thing where it filters out any kindness, attention, compliments, or flirtations directed at me. I end up either blind to it all or I think that it's nothing but insane lies.

Just when you think no one is looking.
I went to my test this morning, anticipating the worst, as usual. This is irrelevant though. A woman in our class, who apparently used to be a photographer told me she looked through my pictures because sometimes I post my flickr on my Facebook. She said at first she was digging through them trying to figure out if I really took them. And then she proceeded to ask why I'm in nursing school, she is the second person to tell me that! This was definitely the highlight of my day and it's just getting started.
Of course I'm in nursing school because I love it, money, security, etc. But I do love photography as well. It's funny how I underestimate myself, I think my work is shit. Others apparently don't. When I get out I promised myself I will take some classes at the local community college or something. I have a craving for knowledge about photography.
Compliments from the people you least expect are just so lovely.
