Dr Martens have just released a limited edition 80′s film inspired collection featuring The Goonies, Beetlejuice and The Lost Boys

Almost forgot - there was one other thing I made recently- I’d just been working on it for so long, I forgot nobody else had seen it yet! I finally was able to make a decent version of the doubloon from The Goonies, and improve my painting skills. The ones I tried to design previously either came out too flat, so you couldn’t see the detail, or differed too much from the screenshot I wanted to duplicate. They also needed weathering - I had made a version of the Copper Bones Key a while ago, but just left it painted bronze/gold. I tried leaving the doubloon that way to match, but then they both just looked too fake/new. Painting isn’t my strongest skill, but with a few light spritzes of brown and green and a gentle rubbing in by hand, I got some pretty nice results!
