kipperlilly’s first valentines day after being revived, now that she and kristen are friends it makes kristen sad that she has never had a valentine before so she decides to do something nice for her. she buys kipperlilly a cheesy card (because she knows she’ll hate it and it’ll be funny) but also does things that are really personal. like kristen knows she likes stuffed animals but feels embarrassed about it so she gives her one of those palm pals that’s small enough to fit in a bag, and whenever they go shopping kipperlilly will point out the stationary she wants (but she hates impulse purchasing/getting things that weren’t on the list) so kristen goes back and gets it for her. specifically kristen does not get flowers because kipperlilly has described them as a waste of space and instead of getting her assorted chocolates (too much variation that kipperlilly doesn’t care about) she just gets her a bag of whatever her favorite kind is.
and when kristen gives her the stuff at school kipperlilly gets super excited until kristen calls it a palentine’s gift and she gets really moody throughout the rest of the day. this upsets kristen and she worries she did something wrong so she asks kipperlilly who admits she hoped it was a romantic gift and that hits kristen over the head like a frying pan because she didn’t even realize that she and kipperlilly could be more than friends. actually holy shit she has been feeling more than that for a while now. so kristen out loud is like wait i’m stupid and kipperlilly is like ?? so kristen kisses her and it’s awkward because it’s kipperlilly’s first kiss but that’s okay because it’s still cute !!
and then that night they go on a real date stargazing or something YAY !!
