Oh wow. Let your heart be light?
THEY TEST OUT THE BED.
Besides obviously meaning sex, I also mean that Bucky claims a side and starts fiddling with the sleep numbers and it takes him like half an hour to settle on the right setting. Steve’s is almost the hardest the bed can be, and Bucky’s side is marshmallow soft, so the next time they try to bone, Bucky feels like he’s falling off the edge of Steve’s side of the bed only to sink into his, and Steve laughs for about three minutes at the way Bucky squawked as he ‘fell’.
(I also think it’s funny if Bucky keeps walking in on signs Steve is sleeping on the marshmallow side of the bed on the nights he doesn’t stay over, like Steve’s starting to find the softness comfortable but is too stubborn to adjust his own side)

I'm older than up and coming actors/sports stars, and of comparible age to current ones and this scares me. I mean, aren't they meant to be both ageless and older than me? & why do i still look like a kid?
the next step is someone younger than me playing a parent of a teenager on tv.

I never realised the EXTENT of my feelings of this 'verse, until you posted this snippet and it all came flooding back. I wanna be on LJ so I can C&P all the best bits, because there's so many good lines omg. Never will get over your worldbuilding<3

(“Until we get a new rookie,” Morgan admitted.) I can totally picture JP's face as he says this. It's fkn hilarious.

I'm sure there's a more efficient way to cmnt, but Tumblr is still 90% a mystery to me I'M SORRY (“Who’s that?” Runner asked, pointing to the man sitting beside Kitty.) but this? I am forever utterly charmed by this version of Runner

(Michael just asked me what I was doing and I'm like, I'M TRYING TO USE TUMBLR I DON'T KNOW OK) (“It’s okay, Popeye, we all know you’ve never seen a real woman before, of course you’d get confused,” Kitty said.) Ah Jesus. Best
THANK YOU NAT :D I seriously re-read all of Guide You in the Dark Yesterday, and the two add-on stories, and then this thing here, and the very small start of the sequel, and it’s brought back so many good memories. AND WE REALLY NEED TO DO THAT TEAM LECKIE FEST one fine day. Also, yeah, when the Read More thing wasn’t working I was 5 seconds from just saying “fuck it” and posting it on LJ because a) seriously works better for this type of thing b) lengthy commenting on things really doesn’t work on tumblr and c) everything else is so easily organized already/still over on larks_still_fly
copperowls since tumblr is being an ass and the Read Mores aren’t working even when putting in the html code myself, I set your reply on private, but anyone who wants to read it/something from the Midnight Land ‘verse from many, many moons ago can find it here.

I have like 4-5 other mixes I’ve been pondering for his living years, but this one has been brewing for awhile, so it was time to get it posted.

Oh man I totally feel you on your last answer.
Right? And it’s just really sad (though done for various obvious bullshit Hollywood reasons) that we just get the same variations told over and over again. The sources are out there, the stories are on record, it’s just no one can or will produce them. Or when they do, like with Miracle at St. Anna or Red Tails, they’re not nearly as well-received or able to delve deeper into the personal histories because their major film releases. It’s been ten actual years since HBO produced/released The Tuskegee Airmen. It’s more than time to, at the very least, revisit it.

Have you read any of the books related to the series?
I actually have an entire bookshelf in my room dedicated to WWI/WWII and various other war memoirs. 2 of the shelves are nothing but HBO War related books/memoirs/supplemental materials and various books by Leckie I’ve been able to get my hands on.
A The Pacific scene that made you laugh.
The everyone is hung over during the bugle call look I ‘m going to just fall down into this grass right here scene.
Are you excited for Masters of the Air?
I am and yet I’m kind of tired of having yet another WWII set mini-series about (primarily) a bunch of white dudes. Like, come on. The 442nd Regiment. The Red Ball Express. ANYTHING on the Montford Point Marines. THE FRIGGIN NIGHT WITCHES if you wanted something about pilots. ANYTHING ON THE NURSES, like, for example, the Angels of Batan COME ON.
There’s just so many other important histories to be told and they don’t get nearly as enough attention.
So I’m excited but I still remain :/
