Another incident
So there is another issue with cops that unfortunately will be drawn into the idiotic realm of racial issues. A kid in Cleveland was threatening people with a realistic looking airsoft pistol and when confronted by police and told to put his hands up he reached for his waistband.
Sure, this is merely a thirdhand accounting of what happened, but this 12 year old was really done wrong by the mindset going around that it's ok to be disobedient to law enforcement officers, which is it not.
There will also be talks by the head-in-the-clouds unrealistic types who will call for the heads of those sworn to protect us. Guess what, people? Without police, there are two other options- military law or martial law. Military are far stricter than police ever would be and martial law means those with the best weapons become judge jury and executioner.
Don't let the media and unrealistic viewpoints cloud your judgment. Granted not every suspect is guilty, but there are far too many suspects that are innocent of any actual crime acting belligerent enough to warrant further suspicion. And when it comes time to a projectile weapon like a gun, there is no grey area if it looks realistic. Mainstream media and race war-mongers, this 12 year old's blood is partially on your hands. Generalizing and assumptions are terrible things to do when it comes to human lives, but when your motions are based on education, training, and common sense they can save lives far more often than not.
Respect the police for they risk their lives to keep the malicious from taking your right to live your life your way. And yes, I have been apprehended by police a few times for doing stupid things as a youth. I never badmouthed them or showed them sass despite being in the wrong and treated them with due respect and they returned the favor despite my causing them initial problems.
