A Little Funny story with a lot of lessons..
Me: i’m making memes and Anime review
YouTube:Are they original?
ME:No of course not that’s why they are called Reviews
YouTube:This isn’t going to be easy, but go ahead and try
ME:*putting Grand Blue Music on a vid after i listed the names and information about the original creators (giving credits to others)
SONY MUSIC:YOUR VIDEO IS NOW DEMONETIZED AND BLOCKED IN JAPAN MOAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
ME:*sending them a private letter explaining the situation and asking them to reconsider because i want people in japan to see the video
SONY MUSIC:OH YOU ARE TALKING TO US HOW DARE YOU………COPY STRIKE ON YOU NOW!
ME:*taking the copy strike hit, i sent them many private messages explaining the situation…..not even one reply, maybe they didn’t even care to reply, but maybe at least i got them to see my video i bet they enjoyed it at least a bit.
So in the end i got bored and suspended my YouTube channel to think of new working alternatives.
What we can learn is this:
1_YouTube for new creators is a nightmare, with premium sad music
2_you need to become a musician because getting a free track is an unpaid hassle
3_Giving credits to others even if they demonetize you and get the revenue wouldn’t always work, they can still copy-strike you
3_lastly you need to make a private Anime company and review your own creations…..BUT i guess you are going to get a copy-strike for just for using the word anime………….NANI!
This is a video about how I was claimed unfairly by YouTube on one of my videos.
