Working in the tradition consolidated by People Like Us, Stockhausen & Walkman and Wobbly, Copydex reinvents the history of pop through the medium of vinyl translated through a hardware sampler and cassette tapes. To date most of Copydex’s output has been through the medium of radio, including a live session performed on WFMU’s Do or DIY in 2008. Some of these broadcasts are available to stream or download on the FMA: http://freemusicarchive.org/music/Copydex/ 2017 sees the release of a new Copydex album plus further work for radio. Copydex is otherwise known as Gwilly Edmondez, Gustav Thomas, Virginia Pipe and, as MYKL JAXN, one half of the legendary duo YEAH YOU.
