The copyright directive,meant to protect creator content,ended up being a weapon of mass censorship.What are the dangerous parts?Article 11 : Will enforce a link tax that will kill journalism sites,as it’d be impossible to link or quote works (no matter the lenght of the line)that aren’t yours,without paying a fee.Wikipedia will be hit dead on by this.Article12: From what I got,more rights would be given to publishers regarding to what they work with,wich means,the creators and authors would have their work striped from them.So much for a directive meant to protect your work...Article13: The most feared article yet.Combined with the previous articles,this will destroy the Internet as we know it.Art13 will push for the set up of upload filters,aka,each sites available in Europe would have to filter the type of content their users posts,as they’d be directly responsible for any copyright infrigement.This means: The sites would have to comply and buy expensive and error prone algorithms,wich are in no way able to handle the number of daily uploads on the Net,without making a single mistake: they can’t see the difference between stolen content,protected work,original work or a parody.This will no doubt lead to mass blocking,as the content would be kept from even being uploaded on the platform at all.if you’re no int the EU,please do make posts about this,share it,Tweet it,record it,reblog it,anything you want!You’re already helping if you spread the word!Because others places might want to use the same model at home...@nes24mf @kitkat1003 @pumpkin-demon @therealjacksepticeye @thatsthat24 @markiplier
