For Singapore 2024, our two Williams drivers shared the sixth row of the starting grid. With Alex Albon in P11 and Franco Colapinto in P12.

This race was actually Colapinto's third GP start and he's already gained four points for his team!

At the beginning, Franco made an excellent move by dive bombing up the inside of multiple cars. Much to the dismay of his teammate, Alex Albon. Who exclaimed over team radio about what the Argentine did.

Unfortunately, Albon was forced to retire at only lap 16 due to a power unit over heating issue.

Ultimately, Colapinto finished P11 and did not score any points this race.

Singapore 2024 had the British McLaren driver starting from pole position and our aussie starting P5.

Lando Norris, the man on pole, had never maintained lead throughout the first lap of any race after starting on pole. Until today! The Brit not only held the lead through the first lap but he lead all sixty-two laps with strong pace and a lovely long gap between himself and the driver behind him (mainly Max). This meant that today Lando scored his third race win of his career, which is also his third win this year! He scored 25 points this race, settling him at 52 points behind Max Verstappen in the championship.

Oscar Piastri fought his battles and finished the race in P3, scoring 15 points.

McLaren fought hard for a 1-2 but had to settle with the still impressive, P1 and P3.

Lovely results for the first of three night races of this season!

Eliminated in Q1: Albon, Lawson, Bortoleto, Stroll, Bearman Eliminated in Q2: Doohan, Hadjar, Hulkenberg, Alonso, Ocon

Ocon crashed out at the beginning of Q2, bringing out red flags.

Shortly after qualifying, the Mercedes duo George Russel and Kimi Antonelli both received a one place grid penalty.

Russel loses his front row spot to Ferrari's Charles Leclerc while Alpine's Pierre Gasly gets bumped up to fourth replacing Antonelli.

After Q2 was red-flagged for a crash for Haas driver Esteban Ocon, both Mercedes drivers were sent out into the pitlane before race control had announced a restart time, which is not allowed under the sporting regulations.

RACE PREDICTION

Todays GP (Azerbaijan) had Norris starting from P14. After some gruelling battles and back and fourth defending against Verstappen, the brit managed to work his way up and finish in P4.

Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri, who started from P2, fought his battles with the man on pole, Charles Leclerc, and in the end managed to secure his second career race win. As well as a win, Piastri was also awarded with driver of the day.

Pretty good results for the papaya boys!
