Reasonably speaking how do you think Coral would ally with Lucy Gray? I’m struggling to figure out a reason as to why that would be, and was really wondering if anyone has one?

Like she could start out as to use her to attract more sponsors but she canonically only wanted strong contenders in her alliance (Treech and Tanner) so maybe Lucy Gray is stronger than she looks, kinda like how I figure Lamina and Treech both to be? Or maybe her intellect draws her in cause she does need to strategize or something like that.

Just… I need a way to make it believable she allies with Lucy Gray in the Arena and how her alliance with the Pack (which would also include Lamina in this verse) would basically change the Games? Maybe Coral goes for Jessup insists Lucy Gray joins and it’s a thing where she can just use her to get more sponsors at first then when they get to the Arena she sees that Lucy Gray actively is pulling her weight so concedes she perhaps misjudged her.

It’s either this or I give Marcus a really bad time and have both Lucy Gray and Lamina basically have an “argument” with him. And basically just take him by surprise but I don’t know how’d that would work feasibly.
