I really like to see sketches of art work, so I wanted to share my process of the previous comic! I first make thumbnails in Dutch but English here and there if I'm already certain about the line. Then I make a second more detailed sketch with the better written script (though some lines were changed in the final version). Also I just now discovered Azul's flyers disappear in the first page lol

I also shared it on Patreon first, and I think I will share more sketches exclusively there from now on!

I also have opened a "Suggestions" group chat on Patreon, so I can answer every suggestion (I don't answer all my things in my inbox to not overflow my blog with just asks, I will however always answer DMs!). The chat should be accessible to all members (also free members) but the art is only for paid (it's 1 dollar a month due to me not being super active)

aside from coralbella, do any of your other twst girls have a last name? I love that hers is a pun!

I want to make profiles for everyone at one point, with full name, birthday, class etc. So I want to give all of them a surname at one point, but for now I have these!

Coralbella Corrente - I misspelled it in her drawing I now noticed, its Italian for current (like floating water)

Prim Kingsley - her old sheet still says Kingston but I think Kingsley fits better after multiple people suggested it :)

Yina Geyser - related to the many geysers in the hyena layer

Shari Al Kunuz - Kunuz means treasures. Original name was Maghārat Al-Kunuz (cave of treasures) but I think it's a bit too long

Anna Track - being based on the broom dog I wanted something with a road or path. Thought it was fitting for her name to also begin with TRA so she would have to be paired up with Ace in Middle school when they went alphabetical order, as a way these two would interact

Ivy Roots - she a tree

Brandee Butters - the name is so dumb that I want to commit. Her dads are both named Brad and one Butters and the other McFly I will commit to this family with dumb names (watch me name her older brother Brandon no one can stop me)

One's with no surname (yet) : Amari, Gwendolynn, Geneviève, Nailah, Dafni, Saskia, Elisa. Suggestions are always welcome! Though I like them to blend with the game, so I'm looking for plain non-Japanese words rather then well thought out researched names haha! Though I appreciate every suggestion of course :D

Coralbella reminds me of brazilian song named "de todos os loucos do mundo" (from all the crazy people in the world) and all i can think about is her and azul during this specific part

Friend for Azul :) Not sure about how they're friends yet. Like the idea that their moms are friends (octopusses gotta stick together!)

I tried designing the character first as a way to brainstorm another bae but I don't know dude. I still don't really have a clear picture. I really like octopuses so I wanted to try an octomaid, and the original Disney characters are musicians so I thought she'd be a musician? I thought a tuba would be fun because octopuses like dark tight spaces, so she could hide in it? I DON'T KNOW DUDE

Maybe she's going to land soon? Maybe you will never see this character ever again. See it as a try out. Any suggestion is very much welcome of course! Right now I gave her the name Coralbella Currente
