Girls’ Night

“Xion...?”
A brief sign of relief passed over her as she strode down the dark hallway, illuminating the way with that strange Gummiphone the cricket had given her. She had noticed in her readings that she may very well be the only one who could understand what she had just gone through. Entering the Darkness, being consumed. Being lost... And as luck would have it, she had invited Xion, Kairi, and Namine to the castle here for a bit of a Girls’ Night.
It was the easiest way to distract her from the pain.
She had run almost entirely on adrenaline from the moment she escaped the Realm of Darkness to the moment they defeated Master Xehanort. When they all ended up back on Destiny Islands, she really had no idea where to go forward. She just felt so... exhausted. She just slept and slept and slept for almost a week until she felt well enough to move, and even then she rarely left her room. But she had grown bored rather fast, and instead of wallowing in the pain and soreness she threw herself into a project. Anything. It didn’t matter what.
She had ended up coordinating everyone’s schedules so they could meet together in various worlds. Girls’ Night had been one of those events.
She found herself at Xion’s door and rapped it lightly.
Knock. Knock. Knock.
“Can...” Her voice warbled, like the mere possibility that she wouldn’t be able to help was going to send her into unending tears. “Can... we talk?”
