So this is happening on the Daly field at FRC Championship in St. Louis. It's raining so much the ceiling is leaking. This is their solution.
Some of our chats
WE'RE GOING TO ST. LOUIS!!!!!!
CORE made it to finals, won our first match with teams 1986 (Team Titanium) and 5442 (Mechanical Monarch) AND we won our second!!!!!!!!!
Some pics from Seven Rivers 1: our robot in a practice match 2: the worlds highest scoring match without penaltys 3: CORE 2062 (2062), Team Titanium (1986), and Mechanical Monarchy (5442) 4: all my current buttons
So, CORE's drive team is official
Driver: Controls Lead Operator: Programming Lead Pilot: Controls Guy Human Player: Mechanical Lead Backup Driver: Mechanical Lead Backup Operator: Me!!!! This is my first year on drive team, and my second on the team in general
Our lead mentor always sends us this parody before kickoff
So, I’m kinda late with this
Congrats to the teams who won both championships!
Also congrats to team 1986 Team Titanium, because without them, CORE wouldn’t have gotten to St. Louis!!
I really enjoyed talking to all the other team members from other countries/states, and I hope to do it again! I think that the experience was so cool, and I had a lot of fun, even though it was kinda rainy.
Topic Change!
So, I mentioned this at the top of my page where I mention I’m from CORE 2062, but I wanted to say something now. I’m not the media person from CORE and anything I post does NOT represent the team. I only have this blog because I sometimes like to rant about things, or share things that happen at meetings, and I have terrible social skills (and probably minor social anxiety).
Just wanted to mention that; nobody was asking or anything, and I’m not mad, but our head mentor said something about it a couple weeks ago and I just remembered.
