Nerds - 2
I went to a FIRST robotics competition in Orlando this past weekend with my team. We were sitting in the stands and one of our mentors was trying to get our attention. He yelled “NERDS!” and about three other teams responded to his call.
We all know what we are.
Congrats to the Seven Rivers Regional 8th seed alliance!
The teams were 1736 Robot Casserole, 2826 Wave Robotics, and 2830 Riverside RoboTigers!
They ended up winning the regional, beating the #1 seed alliance, 1986, Team Titanium, 1756, Argos, and 6630, F.U.N. (Fiercely Uknighted Nation).
CORE didn’t get to the playoffs, but we’re happy that 2830 (Riverside RoboTigers) won. We did end up winning the Safety Award, which is awesome.
Anyways, congrats to the winners of the regionals, especially the ones at Seven Rivers.
Wondering what FRC events to find us at this season? Wait no longer!
More information here!
Seven Rivers!
Don Bossi at the Seven Rivers Regional in WI!!!!! He came to our pit after our second match and signed our helmets! (COREs drive team (which I’m on!) has safety vests and helmets that we wear to matches)
Congrats to the winning teams this week, especially at the Wisconsin Regional!
CORE is looking forward to the Seven Rivers Regional in La Crosse, Wisconsin! (Week 6) We can’t wait to see some teams again, and also see new ones!
Good Luck!!

Well, CORE was at Rockford!!!
I got to be the operator and we ended up winning!!! Our alliance partners 2451 (PWNAGE), 1625 (Winnovation), and 2707 (Roaring Robotics) did great, and it was an awesome experience!!
So what are you guys doing for robotics this summer??
CORE is doing a lot of outreach, and we’re building an ambassador robot. Yeah!!! No idea what else to say, or if I can say it, since I’m not on our media subteam anymore.
So, I’m kinda late with this
Congrats to the teams who won both championships!
Also congrats to team 1986 Team Titanium, because without them, CORE wouldn’t have gotten to St. Louis!!
I really enjoyed talking to all the other team members from other countries/states, and I hope to do it again! I think that the experience was so cool, and I had a lot of fun, even though it was kinda rainy.
Topic Change!
So, I mentioned this at the top of my page where I mention I’m from CORE 2062, but I wanted to say something now. I’m not the media person from CORE and anything I post does NOT represent the team. I only have this blog because I sometimes like to rant about things, or share things that happen at meetings, and I have terrible social skills (and probably minor social anxiety).
Just wanted to mention that; nobody was asking or anything, and I’m not mad, but our head mentor said something about it a couple weeks ago and I just remembered.
My mom sent me this. It's half of the FIRST Steamworks field out of Legos. It needs 10000 votes to become real, and it's only at around 650. If you this that this is awesome and should happen, please vote for it!!!!! Share with your friends!!!!

Soooooo I may be kinda trying to memorize team names and numbers.....
Just the teams who went to the Seven Rivers and Milwaukee Regionals this year. Sorry everyone else!!!!
Good luck to all teams competing in the Houston Championship!!!
