Astrid is finally lvl 80! So in honor of my third lvl 80 mesmer, a class that I’m not even good at and isn’t even my favorite, I got them all pretty dresses.

15. Best kept secrets: She never actually liked being in Mave’s gang. Don’t get her wrong, she liked the girls and the bonds she made. But she never really thought petty crime was… fun. She didn’t get a kick out of it like the others did. But she went along with it because they were her friends.

17. Worst romantic experience: She’s only dated two people and they both a HUGE mistake. The first was a Nightmare Courtier and he never told her. The second was Mave and she disappeared without a word. Coreene just wants to find one person who cares for her and leads a normal life.

18. Biggest insecurity: That she’s not valuable. That she’s easily discarded. She’s been abandoned by someone who never truly cared for her. And again by someone who cared for her, but not enough to part ways in a respectable manner. Everyone close to her as either had ulterior motives or were pulled away from her by “more important things”. She’s starting to think it’s her fault.

🖊 Astrid has a big family, she has two older brothers and one younger sister. The surname Maximus comes from an ancestor who shaped the way the family is to this day. Maximus claimed to have found a Spirit of the Wild that no other norn recognizes. A massive bird he called a Roc. The family still venerates Roc to this day and are known for their eccentricities in Hoelbrak.

🖊Despite coming from such an unusual family, Astrid is quite popular in Hoelbrak. She is a skaald and sings her songs with the aid of her illusions. She uses her mesmer magic to accompany her performances with lights, colors, and images. This as earned her quite the following in Hoelbrak and she’s something of a minor celebrity.  

🖊Unfortunately, Astrid’s act is not unique. There is a singer in the Grove who also uses mesmer skills to enhance the show. Astrid and Coreene are bitter rivals. Both claim the other stole their act, despite the fact that their acts have entirely difference aesthetics. Astrid is more flashy and almost “disco”. Lights swirl and flash to the beat, there’s lots of glitter and vibrant colors. Coreene is more of lounge singer. The lights and colors are dramatic but mellow and shift slowly, the shadows play little melodramas in the background. Sadly, neither performer can admit that maybe they both came up with the concept separately.

this is Coreene, one of many alts jgfjhghk. She’s a mesmer and Mavelle’s ex. They used to run together in the same girl gang. Coreene almost dated a nightmare courtier once, the verdicts still out on whether that would’ve been better or worse than dating a Pact Commander fgjghhjkh.

She makes an honest living as a lounge singer in the Grove now. Pulling a Dazzler and using her powers for flashy lights while she sings.

Zinnia and Beatrix are still being leveled. So I don’t really got much on them. 

Zinnia is the resident chaos gremlin. Everyone has that one nightmare court sylvari and she’s mine. Likes to party with demons and make questionable friends. But she looks cute so whatever.

Beatrix is the Priory’s resident genius, playgirl, billionaire noble, philanthropist. And yes, she is as obnoxious as that Iron Man quote suggests.
