Just under $7,500 to go for our current project at Tastex in Tasmania. Tastex’s founding purpose is to provide employment and training for people with intellectual disabilities and to be self-funding through its knitwear factory. Tastex is a “Special Work” of the St Vincent de Paul Society, and is an Australian Disability Enterprise.

Other donation-based projects

We've just added a list of donation-funded solar projects by other organisations to our website. We're delighted to see donation-based solar funding is becoming a 'thing', and hope that a bit of mutual promotion will help all such projects succeed better than otherwise.

So far we have listed projects by BMRenew: Blue Mtns Renewable Energy Co-op, Bendigo Sustainability Group - BSG, The People's Solar, and RE-volv.

Easter update: now only $800 to go to complete funding for the Camden solar project! Financial institutions don't process transactions over Easter, so we don't actually have contributioins made over Easter yet and so they're not yet shown on our website honour roll, but we get auto-emails from our website when someone fills in details in the donation form.
