BSLBATT high-voltage battery systems—each with a capacity of 62kWh (total capacity of 124kWh)—are currently undergoing final assembly and testing at our facility.

Soon, these systems will be put into use as part of a microgrid initiative to support areas most in need of stable, distributed energy storage.

Quick Win project No. 20: Coast FM Wynyard community radio studio, Tas Coastal FM operates a professionally built studio complex in Wynyard with 3 transmitters

New project! This is CORENA's 20th Quick Win project - a 5.28kW solar installation for the Coast FM Community Radio Tasmania studio at Wynyard in Tasmania.

Project 19 for the community centre at Clunes, NSW, is now fully funded, and we already have $2,800 towards solar for the Coast FM studio, partly due to a large loan repayment into our revolving fund from one of our earlier projects (Tastex Knitwear and Uniforms) and partly due to a generous 'one panel' donation.

Woo-hoo! Our second solar installation on a rental property happened yesterday under our landlord-tenant project scheme. Huge thanks to ZNet Uralla for partnering with us on this project. Just under $7,500 to go for our current project at Tastex in Tasmania. Tastex’s founding purpose is to provide employment and training for people with intellectual disabilities and to be self-funding through its knitwear factory. Tastex is a “Special Work” of the St Vincent de Paul Society, and is an Australian Disability Enterprise.
