“Public pool, huh? Didn’t think you were the type to go out and show off your body.” Isamu snickered as he stood at the water side. The outdoor pool was a place he used to come to a lot during his highschool summer breaks, however he hadn’t been here in sometime. Feeling the sun burn against his skin while dropping his towel on the nearest place available. 

“The girls are already checking you out. Do you get off on such attention?”

Doran and moved to a new city a few months ago. While some mythical creatures preferred to live in their own areas away from humans, others liked to integrate and live with them. With so many differnt species and cultures conflict was bound to happen. That was why Doran was asked to come to this city, not because of his high status as a pureblood, but because he was known for his peace agreements. He was told that the vampire representatives of the city was sending over someone to ‘serve him while he was in their city.’ The vampire groaned as he reread the letter for the fourth time. He didn’t know what to expect. It wasn’t unheard of for groups to send him sacrifices in an attempt to gain his favor, something that nowadays made him sick to his stomach. Other times they were actual assistance there for a job and then part ways.

He took a sip of the red wine he was drinking, wearing a lose shirt and sweat pants. A smile crept on his lips as he could just imagine what his parents would say at his appearance, well his entire life choices for that matter. He was lost in that thought when he heard the doorbell ring. The vampire walks to open the front door, looking more like a disheveled middle aged man than a revered pureblood. He smiles, “You must be the assistant, I’m Doran Blackburn.” He holds out his hand to shake the other’s hand in a friendly greeting.

“I’ve put the last of the items inside.” Makoto had been hired to work alongside Adam at the shop. Thankfully he had gained quite a bit of experience as a florist with his previous employer. “Have you been manning the shop mostly alone for all this time? You said you had a friend help you before? It seems just like a lot of work to do mostly alone, you’ve quite a number of people you consider regulars it seems.” In all honesty, Makoto was nothing short of impressed by all that Adam does and has been doing.

“All we got to do is close off now.” Makoto leaned a little bit on the counter. “What about you? Got any plans for the evening?”

Dragging his wife to decide, he couldn't help but be humored at her response to a woman trying to flirt with him. Having two women argue over him was a boost to his ego but he knew the risk it brought with it to be the centre of attention like that. "Miyako ... you need to calm down. We wanted a date night in which we don't standout, right? Drawing too much attention to ourselves will be bad but ... it's pretty hot seeing you like that." He snickered. It was still part of that bratty nature that was deep within himself after all these years.

“I’m sorry to bother you ... buying flowers isn’t exactly my kind of thing but ... uhm ... “ Shit, how was he going to put this? Looking around the shop, taking in the various scents, it was a little overwhelming. Each bouquet had a meaning behind them and he wanted to do this right. “I’m seeing my parents for the first time in a long time. The last time things didn’t exactly end so well, so I want to give them flowers that represent gratefulness ... if that makes sense?” The detective hummed softly, thinking what more he wanted to say with the flowers. “Any suggestions so far?” 

The other must think him a fool, he looked so out of place and he knew it, which made him look even more out of place. “I know it’s a little vague.” He admitted with a weak chuckle.

“You know, we still need to do some location scouting? Is it true that girls know from a young age what their dream wedding is like? If so, what kind of location did you have in mind?” Toshiro himself had a few ideas but he wanted to hear hers first before he was going to throw ideas at her instead. A more traditional Japanese wedding at Miyako’s shrine is something that came up in his head but perhaps Hana wanted something more modern.

“By the looks of it, your mother does approve of the knights we picked for your personal guard, isn’t that wonderful, lady Roseanna?” Allegro spoke as he walked just slightly behind her with a few maids as well as they escorted her back to her room. “Obligations aside, do you wish to take a bath before going to bed? Your servants have already prepared your nightgown for you. If you desire to bathe in the morning, that’s very well possible.”

“Lady Roseanna, may I have a word?” Allegro asked as he entered the dining hall where the young princess was sitting, her mother absent to the meal as for them it wasn’t necessarily required to eat. “It was brought to my attention once again that you’ve been spending an awful a lot of time around the guards and a specific guard at that matter. You’re allowed to walk the castle grounds freely but on behalf of the royal family, I’d prefer it if you would stay away from the barracks of our knights. If you can’t do that, then I must inform your mother on your personal relation to the red headed knight.” Allegro would speak, standing beside her chair, hands resting behind his back.
