Went to visit Graham in the hospital again today. They changed his medicine so he was feeling a little poopy, but he was able to lift his head up. Whenever we’d stop petting him and try to quietly leave, he’d suddenly lift his head and look around. We ended up staying much longer than we planned but were certainly happy to do so!!
We took out a loan to pay for his treatments. I still can’t believe this happened right on the heels of Honeydew’s 3 week hospital visit and her passing away. The total for both dogs is closing in on 15,000$; it’s wiped out our savings but we’re going to make sure he gets all the help he needs no matter what we have to do.
