Corgfriends!

Can anyone tell me tricks to teach my corgimutts to LIKE swimming?

At the cabin this past week, Shiva would walk into the lake and get her feet wet (of course on the "fishing" side of the dock and not the "swimming" side. But when I carried her in, she beelined for shore! She followed me onto the dock, and even enjoyed the pontoon ride! She spent most of it with her nose sticking out the front of the pontoon, inches from the water.

And Pluto would jaunt all happily onto the dock, but freaked out when I carried him into the lake and went straight for shore. Which was weird, because I can get him to jump into his Corgipool at home! I didn't even take him deep! Just up to about my knees/thighs (and I am short, 5'5") and he's half LAB! Labs are supposed to LOVE water!

I want my corgimutts to love swimming with me! Any hints or tricks?
