PINK MOON CORGLUUME
[holding the entries all so so gently] oh you guys REALLY all like the worm moon corgluume
OOC: I’m here for my FIRST CORGLUUME EVENT!!!
I’ll be telling this story from the perspective of an OC!!!
The night was quiet, and the moon was full, its glorious pink hue shimmering through the windows of the sleepy farmhouse. Corey grabbed her camera from the shelf and walked to her bedroom window, wishing to capture the beauteous, seasonal pink moon in a photograph.
As she pointed the camera to the sky, an odd silhouette partially obscured the moon’s pale pink glow from her view. From what Corey could see, though the shadow was relatively small, it appeared to have huge, insectoid wings, and long, fluffy ears. She watched on as it daintily fluttered down from the sky and landed in the grassy fields below.
Corey then grabbed a flashlight and headed outside to see this mysterious creature for herself, carefully avoiding waking her adoptive mother or her other pets. As she found her way to the fields, she shone her flashlight towards the odd being in the grass. The creature, startled at first, flittered upwards, with Corey’s flashlight following it. Its features, once hidden in shadow, were then revealed by the light.
The creature was rabbit-like, with peachy fur speckled with pink and brown splotches covering its body. Its wings, which were deep brown with pink markings and twice the size of its body, were moth like, and carried it with grace. Its bright pink paw pads were adorably heart shaped. The eyes were the most fascinating part of the creature. There were three of them, and they all had black sclera and pink pupils that actually looked like small moons.
“What are you?” Corey asked with both bewilderment and fascination.
The creature, just curious about her as she was of it, flew a little closer to Corey. Corey slowly and gently reached her hand forward to see if the creature would allow her to pet it. The creature backs away slightly at first, startled.
“It’s okay. I’m not gonna hurt you.”
The creature replied to her by floating closer, and gently placing its head against Corey’s palm. Its fur was very soft.
“Awww.”
The creature eventually let Corey hold it, and Corey gently walked with it back to the farmhouse. Corey opened the door to go back inside just to find her adoptive mother, Cassiopeia, waiting for her.
“Corey, what are you doing outside? It’s past midni-” Cassiopeia stopped mid-sentence when she saw the fluffy, winged creature in Corey’s arms. “Where did you find this cutie?”
“It flew down from the sky in front of the moon, and landed in the fields! Can I keep it? Also, what is it?”
Corey trusted her mother on knowing mythic beasts, considering they basically owned an entire menagerie of mythical pets.Cassiopeia looked the creature over a few times.
“This appears to be a young Corgluume.”
“What’s that?”
“Corgluume’s are moon spirits that only appear on nights of full moons, and they have different appearances based on what moon they appear on. This one is a pink moon Corgluume, and it appears to be a young female”
“That’s so COOL! Can I keep her? I’m sure that all the other animals will love her!”
“Well, we’d have to slowly get her used to everyone first, and get her a bed and some food bowls prepared. Also, she needs a name”
Corey thought carefully about what she wanted to call the rabbit-like Corgluume in her arms.
“How about Lulu?”
“I like it! What do you think, Lulu?”
Lulu just happily sniffled in response.
“I think she likes it”
“Yay! Welcome to your new home Lulu!”
Corey happily carried Lulu inside, and placed her on her bed. This would be where she would sleep until Cassiopeia could get a proper sleep area for her prepared.
Corey then climbed into bed herself, snuggling up to Lulu as they both began to fall asleep.
“Goodnight Lulu”

-writing- Leaves rustled under his foot, the sound mixed in nicely with the gently brush of tree leaves above. While he couldn't see them, tucked away safely somewhere above were all sorts of little critters, many of which calling it quits for the night. Others in search for a meal before the nights over. It didn't matter much to him as they weren't what he was out for tonight, it was just a his mind drifting off to random subjects.
Though if he had a moment to spar he wouldn't mind sketching one.
No, waste of time.
He didn't bring his sketch book anyways.
The night so far has gone as he expected, quite, cold, but not dark. It didn't surprise him as it was a full moon tonight. That was the reason he was even out. His monthly due chore, making his way to the little hidden cave, the one where the full moon shines perfectly down into at this time, and collecting the herbs. He didn't know how exactly it worked, but he assumed the moon mystically empower them or something.
going off that one time he nearly told another witch of their location… he assumed they must be the 'good stuff'
Speaking of his master, she doesn't like to go all the way to get them every month just to get them. Thus, its his job to do whatever she doesn't want to do
he sighed, pushing away the thoughts. No point in getting upset now.
He's already here.
The cave was a maze, one he already knew his way through. It didn't take long to finally arrive at the moonlight space, familiar herbs growing in the nook plentifully. He settled his bag down as the leather began to itch against his scales and began. Making quick work of the task, he arrived back at his bag, arms full of herbs only to find the bug fallen over with a fluffy tail sticking out.
He hummed in amusement. "Glad you found a nice napping spot, but I'll be needing this back~" Fern chuckled, lifting the bags flap up expecting the creature to freak out and flee. When it didn't, he raised a ridge.
"Little fella…? Are you asleep?" Probably against his better judgment, he'd rather not get bit… But he stuck his hand in, scooping up the creature.
Now out the bag and into his hands he saw a small little bunny, except it had wings, and notably a third eye on his forehead. "huh…" Not something you see everyday. Oh well, he set down the creature a light dirty yellow, and covered in darker spots, some pink as it just, stared at him… he payed it no mind.
Carefully storing the herbs he made his way out the cave, failing to notice the small rabbit hopping behind him. Through the woods, and all the way back home.

I bullshited this writing in one sitting, so forgive me if its bad... anygays i'd like to name this little one putter fluffs cause it sounds cute! :>
