Almost started breaking down. Literally weeping on the floor type work. And then, my shattering mind had me wandering to the free book stand at the park I was at. They had The Road by Cormac McCarthy, the guy that wrote Blood Meridian, and that snapped me up so fast. The joy that flipped me up so fast is only describable by some sort of divine intervention.

My designs for am and Holden in my crackship au

I only made a drawing of Holden because I have a bit of a different idea for AM

So for Holden even thougu in the book he's dressed in the typical 1840s fashion the time am was created were the 60s drying an escalation of cold war so I tried making his outfit inspired by that era and few decades earlier. I don't think he would ever really dress casual. Personally I think he would solly were at least semi formal attire. I also think he would keep a lot of his older pieces even from centuries earlier but I don't really know how to incorporate that into his design.

Now with AM the thing is I much more prefer how he was described in the book. I don't really like the idea of him having any tipe of an actual body. I don't really like the human version of him, him being a cyborg, android, or anything like that. Personally I really love the interpretations of him being literally a gigantic computer that's able to control the machinery inside him

Talking a bit about my judge Holden X am crackship because I want to.

So I had the Idea fot a while it came to me from those videos of people putting them and qu together into like a trio. The reson why qu is not included is because they're a literal specie and not a singular entity.

So basically it's name is "jam" it's not really for any reason other than I think it sounds cute.

Low-key in my (i guess au) I'm not really using one specific version of am but like a combination of tratets from the book, radio, and video game version.

In Holden I am personally going with him being some version of supernatural but not really very strong. Kinda just what we got in the book tbh. So in my version he's immortal and doesn't age . Personally I'm still note sure where should I put his origins in, but I'm currently leaning onto ancient Greece or mezopotamia.

Personally I'm still not sure at what point they would met but I'm currently leaning towards the time when he was wiping out the entirety of humanity.

I'm also still not sure about like their relationship dynamics and so on. Of course they have the whole evil thing going on for them but I think to an extent their relationship is rooted in jealousy. Like obviously we have AM his hatred for humanity being hevely rooted in his inability to experience phisiclly things like play, sex, food and so on. Judge maybe not so obvious but I think especially my version has a certain complexity about the lack of power he poses. Like he's strong but he's not omnipotent. He still has limitations and ams god like power would definitely make him jealous to some extent
