I finally finished the road by cormac mccarthy and i did cry :(

#im might cry thinking about it now.#the road #uhhhhh #cormac mccarthy #I'm going to have to read it again now that i know what's going on. it will likely move faster on the 2nd read too #i dunno #towards the end of the book i actually really started to enjoy how slow paced it was #but in the beginning it was such a struggle which is why it took me almost 2 years to read it 😭#i kept reading it then losing track of time and had to keep rereading but it was worth it honestly #it's a beautiful book #also getting thre audio version helped me move the pace along SO much better
