I feel like with Cornell Collins's vocal talents, you might expect him to be narrating prestigious literary fiction, serious historical novels, or classic literature. But he's out there doing the lord's work for queer people. God bless him.

I thought Cornell Collin's name looked familiar, so I looked into it and he also narrated a bunch of KJ Charles's work. He did a pretty good job on those, though I think his work on Kidnapped by the Pirate is superior. Seriously one of the best audiobook performances I've listened to. Up there with The Goblin Emperor and Boyfriend Material.
Currently listening to "The Soldier and the Spy" by Annabelle Greene and absolutely loving it!
I think Mr Collins (ha! P&P moment!) has done an amazing job with the voices, and I especially love his Captain Frakes!
Still can't decide which cover I like most, though.. Thoughts?
I don't know how I would have imagined Nathaniel or Hawk if I'd read the print book instead of listening to Cornell Collins's interpretation in the audiobook. I suspect I would have found it harder to get through, but I'll never know. This is why I'm wary of audiobooks even though I love them.
Anyway! Kidnapped by the Pirate was good! Keira Andrews is, as always, an excellent author and Cornell Collins did an amazing job bringing her work to life!
Cornell Collins deserves a medal for his reading of Kidnapped by the Pirate.

I’m over at AudioGals with a review of The Gentle Art of Fortune Hunting by KJ Charles, narrated by Cornell Collins. I enjoyed the story but struggled a little with the narration.
