10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Marietta's brain functions at lightning speed, she thinks about pretty much everything she does and is very rarely spontaneous (unless she's drunk, which isn't really a rare occurrence). However, there are things she absolutely refuses to think about that seem to put her mind into shut-down mode. If she doesn't acknowledge their existence, then they simply do not exist. This, in itself, is troublesome and indicates deeper issues. During the war she didn't have time to dwell on mental issues but, with all of the time in the world, her main problem is avoiding them.
21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Marietta always seems to find herself stimulated be people who are particularly passionate about their interests. There's something about having somebody talk her ear off, even about something stupid like doxy nesting habits, that gets her hot.
Confidence is sexy; arrogance is not. Marietta couldn't imagine being with someone that cannot recognise their own flaws. Not only is it false, it's extremely unsettling. How is she supposed to match up to someone that considers themself perfect?
31: Most prized possession?
Perhaps it's cliche, but, above all, Marietta prizes her wand; Black Walnut wood, unicorn hair core, 10 3/4″, hard flexibility. At first it was difficult for two.">her to master, as the wood can be rather hard to work with, but she couldn't imagine life without it. Sometimes, on bad days, Marietta wishes that she has nothing to do with the magical world, but the wooden stick in her pocket acts as a reminded of whom she is and what's really important.
38: What recharges them when they're feeling drained?
Black coffee. (and firewhiskey)
