How Coro Puts the Color on the Draws
Wow I uh never really expected anyone to ask about my coloring cause I honestly do not know what I am doing. *sweats*
Ok but the least I can do is try to explain my methods... so here we go
(I use Paint Tool SAI and its standard brushes)
The first thing I do is block in all the basic colors using a combination of the magic wand, bucket, and simple pen(cil) tool. I usually use a few layers to make shading easier, but they can be shared if you want some colors to bleed into each other.
Now for the actual shading, I mainly use two tools: the marker and what I call the flat brush. Above is my marker tool. I like to use this when I want the soft blended look.
As for the flat brush tool.. It's just a modification of the regular brush tool except I turn off tablet pen pressure. I use this when I want something more blocky and less round as my marker.
Hope that was interesting.. I put more time into this than I intended, but oh well. \o/
happy birthday to popotater !!
