. I can't believe we not only know the title of the next generation, but also a much more exact timing of the division between them and the current. Like, aside from your occasional premies, it'll be Generation Alpha right up through November 2020, and then if you were a full-term infant born mid-December or later, you're a Coronial and there's just no arguing about it.
Your coronial apocalypse is weak.
THAT is what I call a REAL apocalypse.
Day 9 of Post-Travel Isolation
Okay I’m not crying but we have lots of cereal and no milk or yogurt. This morning marks our last caffeine fix with milk until grocery delivery tomorrow afternoon - first world problem or what? Let’s hope the grocer has lactose free milk in stock or there may be serious problems.
I guess we’re all wondering when this covid-19 situation will take a different direction - hopefully we’ll completely smash the curve and gather enough trend data that allows us to limit the number of people requiring health care intervention. The alternative does not look promising given the news out of Europe right now.
I just bet you’re wondering what am I doing during this isolation - admittedly lots of screen time but I’m trying to limit Netflix until after 8pm, trying to get at least an hour of exercise per day, trying to do yoga daily, trying to limit alcohol consumption to the weekend, setting aside time for book reading, music, puzzles. I have yet to create any art - not sure I can find any paint - or dance like no one’s looking - maybe that’s after the wine arrives later this week. And I connect with my elderly mother-in-law, kids, siblings, friends - maybe even more than usual which is a great thing. Oh yeah, and I’m practicing the penny whistle - technically called a High D Whistle. Big shout out to the Internet for tutorials, tips and music.
Wondering what I’ll be doing in several weeks time of social distancing. I’ve yet to have a Quarantini - but I’m afraid it might call for some disinfectant or at least alcohol greater than 75% proof.
PS Congratulations to my nephew and his wife on the birth this morning of their new baby daughter and sister to Linley. I suggested the name Corinne Vida (get it Co Vid - helluva a 19th birthday too) and she will be part of the first wave of the Coronials generation. (credit due to Alicia for that last one).
